Glenbarr Nursery is situated in the village of Glenbarr on the Kintyre Peninsula. Established in 1978 by Peter & Margaret Sinclair as a retail nursery growing bedding plants, veg plants, pot plants and seasonal cut flowers. The nursery expanded over the years to increase production and also grew protected strawberries.

We now wholesale plants to Islay. Mull and Glasgow.

We operate a wholesale delivery service of fresh fruit, veg., herbs and other exotics to hotels, restaurants and shops from Glasgow to Campbeltown. We also supply local authority establishments. 

We supply an extensive range of wild bird food, house coal, peat and kindlings. We achieved IiP (Investors in People) status in January 2000 and have recently been successful in maintaining this status. This award has national recognition and shows we are committed to the development of our business through continual support to and from our staff.
